Along with the multimedia and the network technology consummating and the popularizing day by day, Software and hardware environment increasingly consummating, our country information technology education development enters the fast lane. The teacher career development concentrates on on-the-job training. Accordingly various training program have been carried out on a grand and spectacular scale, unaware of the fact that success of elementary education reform are supposed to base on that of higher education. Normal universities are the palaces which the elementary education teachers are trained up in. The overall pedagogical quality of students in these institutions will be closely linked with the development in education and society in the future. The teacher career development are supposed to start in normal universities before job-hunting. Competence to integrate information technology into curriculum is no exception.Currently Researches on information technology and curriculum integration are still in an embryonic stage, conducted mainly by individual researchers. None of high-end institutions set up special courses on how to cultivate ability to integrate information technology with curriculum. This becomes an important issues facing the Normal universities. Confronted with this practical problem, this study grounds on previous research, implements various research methods including literature review, action research, observation, interviews and brings up an integration strategy: make full use of digital learning resources launch theme modules learning to train students' ability to integrate information technology into curriculum to meet the information needs of the community for high-quality teachers.This study includes introduction , the body (four chapters) and the end. Introductory part of this study focuses on the background , current status of research and the significance of the study. The first chapter explains the implications of information technology and curriculum integration in addition to analyses of integration, content and objectives of learning, and knowledge frameworks. The second chapter describes cases of successful integration before analyzing the strengths ,which provides experience for strategy in teacher training programs to develop . Chapter III lays down training strategies under the analysis of factors affecting choice of teaching strategies. Brought up is the integration training strategy : Interpretation, demonstrations, exploration, practice and reflection. In accordance with the integration strategy, a website is established as a teaching platform to support information technology and curriculum integration. Chapter IV is the empirical study of integration strategy . Theme modules are chosen as illustration of design, implementation and evaluation of teaching. Concluding part aggregates innovations of integration strategy and points out the problems in this study and inspirations from it.
