The paper overviews the development and connotation of the information technology curriculum integration (ITCI) and summarizes the roles of information technology in instruction, as well as the essential distinctions between ITCI and computer aided instruction. Based on those, the attention is paid to train the normal university students' ITCI capability. According to the students' level of mastering the information technology, "the Training Scheme of Fostering Normal University Students Ability of Integrating Information Technology into Biology Courses" is designed and used to extend the thoughts of Intel?"Teach to the Future"and combined the biology course's traits. Then, it is put into practice, cultivating the seniors' ability to integrate the information technology into biology courses, in Normal Specialty of Biology Department in Capital Normal University.The experiment research indicates that the students have comprehended the implication of ITCI and improved to a certain extent the capability of using information technology after being trained. By the practice, the students can use the methods of integrating information technology into curriculum, which paves the way for students' sustained development. On the other hand, the research demonstrated that, for students, the formation of informational consciousness and emotion couldn't be accomplished in an action, but depended on the overall informationization environment of education, especially on the subtle influence of teachers' information consciousness on the students.Meanwhile, the action research analyzes the problems appeared in the training course. Aimed at the defects of the pre-designed scheme, the thought and method of perfecting the scheme was put forward. The scheme was hoped to offer a thought or to establish a framework for training, which could be applied to foster the normal students capability of integrating information technology into curriculum.It was reported that the training project of the Intel?"Teach to the Future" could be extended to Normal colleges by Education Ministry in 2003. Given the distinctions between the normal students and the in-service teachers, the thesis offered some advices for this action so that it would suit to the normal students. It was hoped that the action would help the education reformation and improve the normal students capability of teaching in deed.
