Education and economic are the two footstones of society development. Economic plays a supporting role in education while education especially higher education leads the development of economic on the contrary. The mutual adaptation and coordination of the two could give an enormous impetus to social progress. According to the discussion of public products theory,higher education supply and demand theory,and the relationship of higher education and economic as well as some other related factors, it will be able to be of service in the reformation of school-running system of Chinese higher education and the implement of the strategy of developing the country by relying on science and education to discuss the economic causes of the reformation of school-running system of Chinese higher education.With the reform of economic system, the school-running system of Chinese higher education have also gone through a vigorous reform process.
