With the general guidance of the quality education reform, China's reforms in the area of higher vocational education have also showed a growing tendency, and the reform of collectivized school-running models of the higher vocational education is one of the prominent issue. The reform of collectivized school-running models of the higher vocational education will bring with promotion in the integration of vocational education resources and in the integration of production and learning, which helps achieve the complementary advantages between schools and enterprises and enhances the vocational education quality and the capacity of vocational education serving economy and society. The reform has been a hot topic in higher vocational education. Based on the discussion and sorting of previous relevant studies and multi-disciplinary knowledge of education, economics, management science, and organizational science, this research adopts the methods of literature, investigation, and comparative studies, etc., to analyzes the background of the reform of collectivized school-running models of the higher vocational education in China and its developmental process. At the mean time, this research discusses the main contents of the reform, and then carries out practical reflection on the reform. Thereafter, the author tentatively explores the main principles and measures to take up in the follow-up reform and development, hoping that these would bring some reference and lessons for further reform.
