Teaching ability is the most demanding ability for physical education majors specialized in rhythmic gymnastics. It is a serious and practical problem for rhythmic gymnastics education to give an objective and correct evaluation of the teaching ability of physical education majors specialized in rhythmic gymnastics so that their teaching ability could achieve an overall and gradual improvement. Resorting to literature consultation, consultation with experts, questionnaire, layer analysis and multi-layer equivocal mathematics evaluation, the author of this thesis conducts a survey as to the present situation of the teaching ability of physical education majors specialized in rhythmic gymnastics, works out a teaching ability norm and teaching ability evaluation system for physical education majors specialized in rhythmic gymnastics. The study provides a theoretical and practical basis for the relevant further study. The result of the study shows the following:1.The construction of rhythmic gymnastics teaching ability evaluation system should abide by the principle of being systematic, overall, scientific, practical and objective. It should also combine qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis;2. Rhythmic gymnastics teaching ability is a comparatively independent system with rhythmic gymnastics teaching design ability, rhythmic gymnastics teaching implement ability and rhythmic gymnastics reverberation ability as the bases;3.
