The composition proposition and estimation in the National Entrance Examination have their own characters of authority, equity and especially of independence, but they have a pivotal direction-leading effect on the composition teaching in senior high schools. It is obvious that in the recent years, the innovation and practice of the composition proposition in the national entrance examination have improved the composition teaching in senior high schools, but they at the same time have brought about a lot of negative effects. Firstly, they have no systematic or scientific directions in teaching, and the students'capacity of foundational writing practice is deadly needed. Secondly, it prevails that literature is everything and the result is that the style of the composition is not clear. Thirdly, the content about the natural science and the statement about the scientific research and creativity can hardly be seen. We have to face the problems, fully learn the negative direction-leading effect on the composition teaching in senior high schools and further improve the approach to the composition proposition and estimation in the national entrance examination. The proposition should rely on the curriculum criterion and the proposition content should be based on the real life and the scientific questions. Estimation should be emphasized particularly on the research into the unknown matter, the students'creativity and statement capacity. In compiling compositions in the senior high school textbook, systematic and scientific characters should be paid attention to. We should spark plug and push the way of the real composition and eliminate students'negative factors in their compositions.
