A human's life has it's own dual existence, which is a harmonious entity of one's body and mind. It realizes itself in the unceasing self-denial, makes itself to be superego, moves towards to the freedom. The education must pay attention to the life , and the educational evaluation must promote human's comprehensive, harmonious and free development.Driven by utilitarianism, the traditional educational evaluation overemphasizes the functions of screening and selecting, esteems the only standard and the objective quantification, causes the life to lose its self-awareness, strangles the latent creativity, suppresses the formation of individuality. On the other hand, scientism changes human's idea, makes profound influence to the theory and practice of education and educational evaluation. Such system of educational evaluation becomes stereotypical, unkind and simple, who neglects the human, forgets the significance of a human's life. This kind of theory has it's typical representative: the theory of returning to the original, determinism, objectivism , and the data-quantification , etc.The thought of life-zational education and educational evaluation, who lifts the flag high up and fights against the scientism, persists humanist, and initiatives humanities spirit. The multi-dimensional intelligence theory, latter modernism and the explanation study have laid the solid thought rationale for the life-zational education and educational evaluation, as the follow , the life significance absorbs the nutrition from the life-zational educational evaluation and obtains it's regeneration here .The life-zational educational evaluation is one kind of evaluation which is facing the life individuality, focuses on complete life significance, promotes the human to develop himself comprehensively and freely.To construct a system of life-zational educational evaluation, we must obey a total principle as follow: defer to the characteristic of life, promote the life quality and status comprehensively, construct a developing function of evaluation, a multi-dimensional main body of evaluation and standard, and a comprehensive content and diverse assessment method of evaluation system.
