A human's life has its own dual existence, which embodies both natural and supernatural properties of life, and is a harmonious entity of one's body and mind. Education is one of the causes that concerns life. It is meant to focus on the development as well as the need of life.However, the truth is that our education has gone astray nowadays. It only concentrates on people's properties of social culture and worth of freedom. The author personally participated in the new round of high school curriculum reform in Jiangsu Province. In practice, we found that such reforms only touched the surface of things, but have not touched upon the essence of education. Mainly in the following questions: teachers are in place to change their concept; teachers "curriculum standard" awareness is not strong; awareness of the all-round development of students is not strong; the experience of teachers and students in the process is ignored; while complaints about the existing "evaluation" means are common, without much in-depth thinking about research and development; teachers'awareness of reflection, cooperate and growth is not strong, etc. As has been found through the questionnaire, although the current Politics in the high school classroom teaching has been changed greatly, still existing problems are: emphasizing initiation of knowledge, while ignoring nurturance of students'moral character; emphasizing teachers'leading position, ignoring students'dominant position; emphasizing the teaching mode, ignoring students'spiritual life; emphasizing cognitive development, ignoring emotional experience. In a classroom like this students are meant to be compliant and submissive. Their lives lose the color they should have. In the new round of reform of senior high school curriculum, if we still follow the traditional approaches, it shall only address symptoms but not root causes.To initiate knowledge, open mind and enrich life are the three dimensions of Life-zational Education. With such ideology, the author starts with changing conceptions of classroom teaching, reconstructing teaching contents, building proper teaching and learning atmosphere in class, improving teaching procedures and perfecting standards of assessment, and then carries out an in-depth study and reflection. To practice the ideology of Life-zational Education in Politics classroom teaching in senior high school will make our class see a new lease of life.
