With the employment system further reform of Higher Institutions'Graduates and the scale of higher education extending continuously, graduates'employment is becoming the focus that the whole social concerns and appearing more and more outstanding. Under the whole rigorous employment conditions, key colleges and universities'graduates employment has become the weatherglass of the whole graduates employment condition and the fame of reference for people to evaluate the function of reading and the worth of knowledge. In this thesis, the author studies the employment conditions and impact factors of the undergraduates from Xiamen University (directly under the Ministry of Education) in 2006.This thesis consists of the preface and four chapters. The preface points out the question, clarifies the backgrounds, meanings and purposes. Then train of thought and methods are introduced. Several key concepts are defined. In chapter one, the total employment conditions of Xiamen University undergraduates are analyzed. This chapter lays particular emphasis on the first time employment rate, moving directions, the salary levels and the work satisfaction etc. In chapter two, the demonstrative study of the conditions of employment of Xiamen University undergraduates in 2006 is carried. According to the result of the questionnaire, a contrast analysis is carried between undergraduates in 2006 and 2003-2005 from the aspects of the first time employment rate, moving directions, the salary levels, the occupation targets and the work satisfaction etc. Then the employment characteristics and outstanding questions of Xiamen University undergraduates in 2006 are revealed. Chapter three analyzes the impact factors of the employment status quo of undergraduates in 2006. The chapter studies the impact factors from the market supply, expanding enrollment, adjustment of subjects and majors, employment guidance, resource of graduates, expectation of choosing jobs, graduates integrate diathesis and so on. Then the author analyzes the impact factors to graduates employment. Chapter four is the strategy research of undergraduates'employment question. This chapter mentions some basic strategies for solving it from four dimensions such as country, university, employers and graduates, and provides some references for the related sections.The new meanings of the thesis lie in: 1, the survey sample is reasonable. There are 603 valid samples in this survey. 2, the methodology is improved. SPSS packageis adopted for conducting more factors analysis. Through the factor analysis, the author puts the impact factors in order according to their proportions and find the most influent factors of graduates employment. There are bigger improvement than the same study.
