How to help college students obtain employment successfully and match their occupation is an important topic in the field of career education. For career consultant, social cultural factor is incontrollable, so analyzing individual factors(such as career decision-making self-efficacy, etc.) on the result of employment from the perspective of the psychology can improve the effectiveness and pertinence of career consulting, but the impact of these factors are not independent. Therefore, this study examined the influence of career decision-making self-efficacy, career outcome expectation and career exploration to the result of employment. At the same time, it also validated: 1. The mediation effect of career exploration between career decision-making self-efficacy and employment results. 2. The mediation effect of career exploration between career outcome expectations and employment results. 3. The mediation effect of career outcome expectations between decision-making self-efficacy. 4. The mediation effect of career outcome between career decision-making self-efficacy and career explorations.Considering the lack of effective career outcome expectation measurements, so this paper developed a career outcome expectation scale through the study 1. We prepared the 15 items through interviewed with ten college graduates, 238 college graduates completed the preliminary survey, after item discrimination analysis and exploratory factor analysis, 9 items were retained. These items were classified into two factor includes self-evaluation and social response. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of separate factor and total scale were all higher than 0.7. The second sample included 552 college graduates. A confirmatory factor analysis was conducted on this sample, which indicated that the two—factor structure of career outcome expectation was stable and achieved goodness of fit.In April 2014, Based on the study 1, choose 552 senior students as subjects, with the career decision-making self-efficacy scale, the career outcome expectation scale, career exploration scale and employment results scale as measuring tools. In October 2014, using the employment result scale to survey the employment results of 552 college graduates by telephone, SMS, email, etc., recycled effective questionnaire 349 copies. This study utilized the hierarchical multiple regression analysis to test the influence of career decision-making self-efficacy, career outcome expectation, and career exploration to the result of employment. Another tool used in this study was the structural equation model, which could verify the hypothesis. This Paper reached the following results:(1) The career outcome expectation scale meted the metrology standard.(2) The career decision-making self-efficacy and the career exploration have predicted the result of the employment positively. Career outcome expectation has negative prediction effect on the result of employment.(3)Career outcome expectations partly mediated the association between career decision-making self-efficacy and the results of employment. Career explorations partly mediated the association between career decision-making self-efficacy and the results of employment.Based on the above research results this paper reached the following conclusions.(1)The self-made career outcome expectation scale can be used as a measurement tool of the career outcome expectations.(2) The career consultant can affect the employment results of college graduates through intervene the career decision-making self-efficacy and career exploration positively and intervene career outcome expectation negatively.
