The research takes the higher vocational students as object and based on the self-designed "Undergraduates' Commitment to major Inventor"of WuLanhua,"The undergraduate's the career self-efficacy scale" of LiYazhen and "The symptom self-rating scale"which is made by Oerogatis. L. R and emended by WangZhengyu.It research the situation of commitment to major, career self-efficacy, mental health and the relationship of them, so that it can provide theoretic and practise evidence for the survey of speciality, occupation and the mental health of the higher vocational students .The research shows that : the level of commitment to major, career self-efficacy and mental health of higher vocational students is not very high.In the commitment to major of higher vocational students, there exist notable difference between different gender and grade, but it shows no notable difference among different subject and homeplace. In the career self-efficacy of higher vocational students ,there exist notable difference among different grade, but it shows no notable difference in different gender, subject and homeplace.In the mental health of higher vocational students, there exist notable difference in different gender, subject, grade and homeplace.The commitment to major and career self-efficacy of higher vocational students are significant related, commitment to major is the available predicting variable.The career self-efficacy and mental health of higher vocational students are negative related, the career self-efficacy is the mental health predicting variable.Thecommitment to major and mental health of higher vocational students are related.In a word, commitment to major, career self-efficacy and mental health are related each other.The result promoted us that we must enhance the thought education to improve the commitment to major and career self-efficacy of higher vocational students. The research shows that : improving the commitment to major of higher vocational students is a good way to improve their career self-efficacy and improving the commitment to major and career self-efficacy of higher vocational students are the effective methods to improve their mental health.
