Based on the current employment situation of Chinese university students,553 participants were selected from two universities in JiangSu province for this study. The questionnaire consists of Career Consideration Scale, College Students'Specialty Commitment Scale and Career Decision-Marking Self-efficacy Scale (CDMSE-R). By using the method of questionnaire and case study, characteristics of university students' career choices, specialty commitment and career decision-marking self-efficacy as well as their relationship were surveyed. This study's aim is to improve the vocational guidance theory and provide undergraduate with some trains of feasible guiding to take active measure. The findings are as follows:1,Career choice scores were positively skewed distribution, mean was 54.61,which showed that most university students'range of career choice is not wide; In addition, the students'individual characteristics, such as sex,work experience had a significant effect on career choice.2,The college students'specialty commitment level is not high, especially ideal commitment and continuance commitment.3,The career decision-marking self-efficacy level is normal, but whose five factor had lower scores than the norm.4,There were significant difference between career choice and school,sex,grade,subject and work experience.5,Specialty Commitment and career choice had significant correlation. Logistic regression analysis showed that Specialty Commitment such as continuance commitment,ideal commitment,normative commitment had the maximum predicative power for career choice.6,Career decision-marking self-efficacy and career choice had significant correlation. Logistic regression analysis showed that problem-solving had the maximum predicative power for career choice.7,An case with difficult career choice showed that taking effective mental int erventional measure actively and timely could improve students' career choice.
