| College students’ career decision-making is one of the important factors that affect university students’ employment, higher career decision-making self-efficacy can urge college students to join the action of hunting jobs more actively. Clear the tatus quo and influence factors of college students’ career decision-making self-efficacy is good for carrying out career guidance and improving the psychological quality of college students to deal with the severe employment environment, which has significant meaning on the theory and reality.On the basis of referring to the related research projects, his study made the "college students’ career decision-making self-efficacy questionnaire" and "college students’ professional commitment questionnaire" as tools to survey undergraduates and analyze the data by SSPS17.0application. This study, taking270junior and senior students selected at random in Northeast Normal University as participants, including120students majoring in teaching education and117students non-majoring in teaching education.It is found in this study:(a) On the total score, undergraduates are in high level in career self-efficacy. Undergraduate’ self-efficacy is higher in the two dimensions of collecting information and technology,and lower in self concept, screening target and social. There are significant differences between two groups classified by gender and internship experience in total score. And there are not significant differences between two groups classified by grade, only children or not,place of birth and the type of major.(b) On the total score, undergraduates are in intermediate level in professional commitment. Undergraduates have higher level in the dimension of affective commitment and normative commitment and have lower level in the dimension of ideal commitment and continuance commitment. In the level of professional commitment,there are significant differences between two groups classified by gender and internship experience in total score, and there are not significant differences between two groups classified by grade, only children or not and place of birth. The type of major have significant influence only on normative commitment.(c) There is significantly positive correlation between College students’ career decision-making self-efficacy and professional commitment. The predictive power is high, using the level of undergraduates’professional commitment to forecast the level of career decision-making self-efficacy. In high self-efficacy-high commitment group, senior girls are the most. In high self-efficacy-low commitment group, there are only boys. In low self-efficacy-high commitment group, junior girls majoring in teaching are the most.According to the research question and research conclusions, this study puts forward a few simple suggestions:(a) Guide students to know and form optimistic career decision-making self-efficacy.(b) Guide students to understand their own profession correctly and enhance the level of professional commitment;(c) Pay different attentions to different students groups and carry out, successfully, the task of career guidance and teaching. |
