Developing the positive and active learning attitude is one of the goals of the new curriculum reform. Positive and active learning attitude will lead to forming a good physical literacy, which is also a promotion of students' sustainable development. It is the core content of training the feelings, attitudes and values of students. Besides, it is main teaching content of school education. The purpose of this study was to investigate Learning Attitude towards Physics (short for LAP) of senior school students in Taizhou, and to explore the influence of factors. Based on the its results, this study was to offer proposals as handy references of physics teaching. The thesis had six parts. The following content was the summary of each part.In the first part, the background and meaning of LAP was introduced briefly. Meanwhile, the situations of the learning attitudes field from home and abroad was explained. In the second part, the defined conception and theory of attitudes, learning attitudes and LAP related to the research were discussedIn the third part, the research plan of investigation on LAP was explored. The brief introduction to the plan was as follows:This research was to use in questionnaire survey and interview. The Scale of Learning Attitude towards Physics of Senior School Students in Taizhou (short for SLAP) made by the researcher was used as an instrument in investigation. The research targets were the senior school students from Taizhou Senior School, Tiantai Senior School, Yucheng Senior School, Daxi Senior School, Yuanqiao Senior School and Chengfeng Senior School. There were 908 students of 18 classes. The 908 samples were received, among which there was 803 efficient ones. The effective rate of the samples was 88.4%. The SPSS13 was used to run the procedures for descriptive statistics, One-way ANOVA, product-moment correlation etc. In the fourth and fifth part, based on the data analysis and results of LAP, certain conclusions were made. The main conclusions were as follows:I. The validity and reliability (Cronbach' α >0.9) analysis of SLAP showed that SLAP had good validity and reliability.II. LAP would be influenced by the factors of sex, grade, school, urban & rural school and economic region according to SLAP. LAP had a significant correlation with each factor in the scores of total and subscales.III. There was a positive correlation between LAP and physics results. The students who were top ones showed more positive LAP.In the sixth part, the findings listed above were discussed and several proposals were put forward for LAP which was based on the practical study of students and teaching experience. And the future direction of further study was proposed.
