The exploring teaching, which focuses scientific process as well as scientific results, is carried out in the form of solving problems and simulating scientific exploring activities. Its aim is to train students to grasp activities of knowledge, which can become active experiences of obtaining scientific knowledge, practical training course of scientific methods and skills, and while students being promoted in perceiving, make them learn how to share and cooperate with others. Therefore the exploring teaching has become one of the teaching methods that the New Curricula sparks plug. The introduction of the exploring teaching to the physics teaching in normal schools is not only, significative at present for normal school students to improve their scientific diathesis but also the imminent need in the development of the elementary school reform.This research is intended to supply a transitional teaching model to the introduction of the exploring teaching to the first years of the five years in normal schools and also supply theories and practical references to the ways in which how the exploring teaching is carried out and how the educational functions in normal schools is realized. The research started with the investigation among the 120 skeleton teachers in the Honghe Prefecture and 130 new students in our school. As a result, in allusion to the phenomenon that the teachers and students are now still verdant, a transitional teaching model can be brought forward to form an intergradation from the traditional passive study model to the exploring teaching one. The comparative experiments have been carried out in two classes in our school in order that the traditional passive teaching model and the exploring teaching one can be compared in the effects in the students' grasping the physics knowledge, improving their capability of observation and experiment in physics so that the attitude to the study of physics can be formed. Therefore proofs can be found for the scientific rationality, especially the actual effect of the exploring teaching model. At thesame time analysis is made on the possible educational effective functions of the model and an effective teaching method will be explored.Conclusions have been drawn from investigation and research and 5 months' teaching experiments.l.The teachers in our prefecture know so little about the exploring teaching method that they haven't been able to teach in the way. Most students haven't experienced the exploring study and they have been used to the traditional passive way of study. That is, the idea and educational diathesis of the teachers in charge of the exploring teaching are the major conditionally.2. The 5 months' teaching experiment was made in the present conditions in our school. 30% of the 6 chapters were done in the way of exploring teaching. The expected teaching effect has basically reached. So the normal schools (including high schools) in border area can, in the present conditions, carry the physics exploring teaching and corresponding teaching effect can be reached.3. The teaching research has shown that the beginners of the physics exploring will experience the course of feeling fancy, active, difficult, becoming used to and then having the need.4. Compared with the traditional passive way of teaching, the physics exploring teaching can accelerate students to grasp the knowledge of the expatiation strategy and effectively improve the capability for students to solve the real problems using the knowledge the have learned.5. The physics exploring teaching can help the active mutual action between students and study situation so that the cognitive capability will be improved.6. The research has shown that the physics exploring teaching can create inner and external condition for students to form proper scientific attitude.7.
