Research On Learning Environment Of Educational Game

Computer game has come out for short decades, but its explosive development speed has far exceeded people's anticipation and impacted on education greatly. However, it has become a dispute on the influence of computer game on students. Some praised it, while others opposed it, which aroused the attention from educators. Educations hope students can immerse in one kind of joyful learning environment built by games and experience and enjoy the fun of true study. Therefore, educational game arises. Educational game itself combines entertainment and study dual functions, contains educational values and has established the new method of studying for learners and brand-new study environment. It has become a new topic to research on the cause and effect of learning environment of educational game, in order to offer the guidance for applying educational game in future.Based on a large number of references, I firstly summarize domestic and foreign research status of educational game to form a general view on educational game. Then, I define educational game concept, analyze the characters, categories and educational values of educational game so as to explain carefully on this area. Thirdly, I emphatically discuss how to construct learning environment of educational games, which provide theoretically instruction for the application of educational game. The paper has traced the theory root of educational game learning environment from multiple perspectives, including constructivist learning theory, context cognition theory, multiple intelligences theory, aesthetics art and technology. Besides, the paper analyses learning environment of educational game elements, which enable educational game different from normal education software and amusement game. At the same time, I have given some advice on how to design and evaluate learning environment of educational game. Finally, I design the game script and develop an educational game case to prove my viewpoint described above.
