The Exploring Of The Theory And Practice Of Creating Teaching Situation By Chemistry Experiments

In June 2001, the State Council promulgated the"Basic Education Curriculum Reform Program (Tentative)"that marked Chinese basic education curriculum reform officially entered the pilot phase,In the course of curriculum implementation, one of the outstanding issues is how to combine teaching content to real life to create effective teaching situation. Therefore,the teaching situation is concerned by many education experts,scholars and teachers. Teaching situation appropriated to teaching content stimulates students'interest in learning , cultivates their question consciousness , promotes students'cognition and improve the effectiveness of learning. At present creating teaching situation which is matching to teaching content has become one of teachers'indispensable teaching skills.Chemistry is a natural science based on experiments, and it's the most important characteristic of chemistry discipline. Chemical experiment as a mean to create teaching situation, which can help students study chemistry lively,independently and easily, strengthen experiment instruction and initiate its potential, change students'learning style, promote teachers'development. This paper states the theoretical basis of creating teaching situation by experiments, discusses its inherent functionality and value, analysis its necessity. According to the idea of new curriculum reform and features of new materials, the author proposed the strategies of creating teaching situation by chemistry experiments.The paper conducted a survey on status of middle school chemistry experiments teaching of Alter region in Xinjiang. At last, the author carried on teaching practice in a township middle school, analyzed the change of students learning interests and recognizing in chemistry, and raised some suggestions against the local situation of poor experimental hardware resources and weak teachers.
