In high school chemistry teaching, the experiment teaching is the foundation aswell as the important contents, methods and means. In Yunnan, the present chemicalexperiment teaching varies in regions. Generally speaking, in developed areas, theexperiment teaching can be ensured by good teaching facilities, while in borderregions, many experiment teaching cannot be carried out as teaching conditions areterrible. So the students rarely have opportunities to do the experiments bythemselves.In allusion to these issues, the author combined relevant educational,psychological and statistical theories with the practice of chemistry teaching in highschool to study the chemistry experiment teaching in a high school in the border areas.The research object was Mojiang No.1High School in Yunnan Province. The studyincluded two aspects:(1) the contents, targets and features of chemical experimentteaching in high school, and convergence and comparison between chemicalexperiment teachings in junior middle school and senior Ⅱ.(2) The teachers andstudents were investigated about chemical experiment teaching in senior I in MojiangNo.1middle school. Faced such the background and course objectives,Someexperimental teaching feasible measures were put forward in experimental teaching inpaper. Such as: the phenomenon of life in the chemistry can be combined withclassroom, students can be divided into groups, and students who interested inexperiments can do experiments after school. These measures were taken intopractice in high school four classes. Practical results showed, with the combinationbetween the chemical experiments and life, it’s very effective to improve thestudents’ classroom participation. With grouping experiments, students were able tohelp each other and supervise. While teacher and student roles were reversed,communication would be enhanced between teachers and students.The results showed that the investigation can make the teachers identify thechemistry experiment teaching content and objectives. The problems of experimentalteaching were found, which causing schools and teachers to focus on theexperimental teaching. After the implementation of some strategies from the auther, four effective teaching cases could be designed by the teachers with local conditions,which can compensate for the lack of objective conditions. The curriculum ideas alsocan be achieved, and effectiveness of teaching can be improved by the teachers.
