The Ministry of Education of China promulgated in 2003 a new version of , which emphasizes more about the significance and positive effects of geography scene teaching from the aspects of the basic principles, targets, suggestions to and evaluations on geography teaching . Meanwhile, this new standard also stresses that geography scene teaching has an important function on training students' independent study capability, cooperative learning with other students, research-based study. Therefore,geography scene teaching has attracted many research interests.It also has much practical implication in improving geography teaching, training students' independent study, forsfering students, spirit in exploration and practical abilities.Chinese fundamental education is experiencing a further reform currently. The education objective has changed from traditional focuse on scores of exam to paying more attention to improving students' abilities for all-round development, from teacher-ariented teaching to students-oriented teaching, from traditional teaching mode of knowledge to that of exploring, discovering and solving problem. For the realization of the above-mentioned three changes in the geography teaching of senior high school, it is of great significance in theory and practice to research on geography scene teaching in geography teaching.From the curreny situation of geography teaching in the high school of the developed countries,it is clear that the geography scene teaching has been paid much attention both in editing geography teaching materials and designing the teaching process., whatever on compile of geography teaching material, scheme of course teaching process, geography Those contents, pictures and experiment operation scene in geography teaching materials are designed to be much appealing and vivid with focus on the problems that students must solve during their studying.Through the comparison of the current situation of geography teaching scene at home and overseas, this thesis elaborates the vital significance of the research on the geography teaching scene in China. It also analyzes the rationale of geography teaching scene research::psychology foundation—scene cognition theory, pedagogy foundation —construction principle study theory, geography subject foundation—"High School Geography Curriculum Standard" and practice foundation—geography teaching theory. It attempts to classify to the geography teaching scene into three types. The geography teaching scene in geography teaching place, the geography studying scene in geography study and the geography teaching scene in geography teaching content. To enable the geography teaching scene be undersrood macroscopicauy overall. Meanwhile, based on middle school geography teaching, in view of the three types of geography teaching scene, this thesis proposes initially scene teaching strategy for geography classroom instruction. as follows : 1)to establish the students' main status and to stimulate students' consciousness question;2)to teach students in accordance with their aptitude by establishing various forms of geography question scene positively;3)to based on the characteristics of research-based study, to raise the geography questions reasonably and scientifically. By doing so,the research on the geography teaching scene and geography classroom instruction in the middle school can be integrated. Finally, taking geography classroom instruction in the high school as an example, this thesis creates the geography teaching scene respectively for the teaching-oriented teaching mode,the studying-oriented teaching mode ,and the teacher-oriented teaching mode with students as focus.
