Higher Vocational Education (HVE) is an important part of China's higher education and the important foundation which the national economy and the society develop. It is one of the key factors of restricting the country's industrialization process. Because of a variety of reasons like the rapid development of higher vocational education, the overall quality of teachers of higher vocational education is not optimistic, as the higher vocational education in Hubei as well. So improving teachers' quality becomes a pivotal problem. Teachers' training is the effective way to improve teachers' quality and promote the development of teachers' major. However, vocational training for teachers of higher vocational colleges did not receive due attention. This not only greatly hinders the implementation of teachers' professional development and career goals, but also will fundamentally affect the implementation of strategic objection of higher vocational education. Enhancing the study on teachers' training and providing policy recommendations for promoting the implement of continuing education are of great significance for the development of higher vocational education in Hubei, economy and building well-off society.This article first gives the main definitions relating with teachers' training of higher vocational education. On the basis of human resources development theory, combining with lifelong education theory and the constructivist theory, analyzes the key characteristics of teachers' training and basic principle of higher vocational education.Then, through investigation the paper indicates and analyzes the problems of teachers' training of the higher vocational colleges in Hubei province, such as the lagging of training idea, the single training model, the unreasonable training content, the laggard training method, the inadequate trainers, the inefficiency of the training effect, the insufficiency of training feedback and the lacking of training evaluation. Meanwhile from the government, school and the teacher finds out the causes.At last, based on the analysis, this paper puts forward some references and suggestion for teachers' training of higher vocational education, such as building the training system of teachers' training, making the security system of teachers' training perfect and improving the evaluation system.
