With the new curriculum standards, there are new challenges from Chinese teaching that how to carry out researchful study to develop students' non-intelligence factors, to cultivate students' abilities of innovation and self-culture, and to improve students' qualities for all-around development. This paper discusses the necessity of researchful study in Middle School's Chinese teaching, which is the urgent demand of executing the new curriculum standards and the important way to implement quality education and the effective approach to reach the goal of educating people in Chinese class. During the researchful study, it fosters the aesthetic faculties of students and let the students understand the images of poems and stir up their subjective activities. Hence, there must be more preparation of the researchful study for getting the students widely and deeply into it. Firstly, we must know the point of the researchful study. Secondly, we must know the characteristics of poems and the scientific methods. This paper also discusses the material process of developing the researchful study and tries for some new breakthroughs in Chinese's researchful study. Finally, the paper, with the characteristics of Chinese class in the Middle School, points out and discusses the questions that must be paid more attention in the researchful study.
