Function teaching is one of the most difficult subjects of senior maths teaching, and it also makes many students headache. High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards calls for new changes in teaching aims, teaching contents, learning method and evaluation ways. So as educators we have to think about how to overcome the difficulty of function teaching according to the demands of the new stardard.This article tries to take advantage of the theories of education and psychology, and combine the new standard idea of new curricum with teaching practice to analyse the reason for function learning problems. It focuses on the analyses and designs of function teaching. It mainly analyses, compares and designs the teaching and learning of the conception and features of function, with two reference teaching plans for teaching designs and procedures, which I hope can help solve the difficulty in function teaching and learning.
