The Practice And Exploration Of WebQuest In Information Technology Education In Senior High School

With the development of social informatization , information attainment has become one of the citizens'essential attainments of our day. In the presence of the popularity of computers & internet, it has become a new task for our teaching staff to research and explore how to improve the students'information attainment to make it meet the social demand and how to use the information technology and the internet resource to develop our teaching. Information technology has changed all around from every aspect: from the concept , the goals and the content of the course to the teaching and the estimate of it.The writer of this article is an information technology teacher with 4 years'teaching experience. She is from No. 5 middle school in Dalian. The teaching situation of information technology in her school is not pleasing because at present preparing for the national entrance examination is the most important teaching task for ordinary senior schools. In order to overcome the following negative factors such as: the aging and lack of the equipment , the limited teaching periods and the students'different knowledge on this subject, the writer has tried applying the model of WebQuest to teaching. This article adopting the scientific research methods based on action research, literature research and teaching practice tries to summarize the experience gained from the research and the problems appearing in the practice.Chapter 1. An introduction on the background the present situation and the development of the information technology teaching home and abroad.Chapter 2. An introduction on the start, the development ,the sorts , the structure factors and the basic theory of the WebQuest model.Chapter 3. A statement of the research upon the conditions and necessity of the WebQuest model.Chapter4.
