Mr. Liu Zhixin is renowned chemistry educationalist, many years he has devoted to the chemical education, especially to the study and practices of the foundation chemical education, the higher-level normal education, and the construction of chemistry pedagogy discipline, thus enormously promoted the chemical education modernized advancement in the fields of the theory and the practice.Mr. Liu Zhixin's writings is quite abundant, from the curriculum to the teaching, the macroscopic theory to the microscopic practice, with the rich connotation; These thought derive from the practice, serves the practice. The author bases this research on Mr. the Liu Zhixin's writings, uses the literature and interview mains, follows the historical and practice veins, threads up the time characteristic of Mr. Liu Zhixin's chemical education theory, conducts the research, from its development, the construction, inspiration.the article has mainly divided into four parts:First part, Introduced Mr. Liu Zhixin's the chemical education thought theory and the practice significance as well as the content and methods of research.Second part gives its formation. From three aspects including the traditional culture and thought, the international field of vision, the practice foundation, analyzed his chemical education thought about inheriting from traditional thought, absorption to the world theory, as well as it full development in the practice.The third part, the main content of Mr. Liu Zhixin's chemical education thought. Mainly included : 1st, the development, dynamic, presently nature in chemistry curriculum value; 2nd, take the teaching essence as the foundation, integrated process thought contains the basic concept and the elementary theory teaching, the teaching methods and the teaching process; 3rd, elaborate the comprehensive, developing chemistry teaching quality view; 4th, Mr. Liu Zhixin's reform thought about chemistry experiment fundamental research, the experiment teaching, and the experiment reform; 5th, the overhead construction of the discipline curriculum and the chemistry pedagogy research as well as the teaching thought of graduate students.The fourth part, the author take the educated view of Mr. Liu Zhixin analysed the educational reality from the angle of multiplication, the balanced state, mainwhile,carried on the analysis on inheriting with the renewal, the theory and the practice, the home-education school-education and the social-education three aspects to give the viewpoints of the auther.
