Change And Adjustment: Historical Anthropolical Reseach On The Basic Education In The National Area

This research takes the re-visit as the breakthrough point, and takes use of the basic ideas and methods in historical anthropology. Based on previous related research, having re-visited community of Yao Nationality in Dayao Mountain, the author historically researches the Yao society in Dayao Mountain from the perspective of balanced development of basic education for nationalities, and intends to show the great changes in Yao society in Dayao Mountain from the aspect of education.Education is an important part of the culture of a nation. This paper discusses the development of basic education in Yao Nationality and its changes since carrying out the policy of reform and opening from the following aspects: private schools and Huayao primary schools for Yao Nationality in Jinxiu Autonomous County for Yao Nationality in Dayao Mountain, Guangxi, the establishment of development of basic education for nationalities, and the implementation of basic education since carrying out the policy of reform and opening. The paper analyzes the problems in the developing process of basic education in national areas, and concludes that basic education for nationalities in Liuxiang County has made tremendous achievement, but has been in unbalance at the same time. Therefore, the author suggests that the development of basic education for Yao Nation in Liuxiang Village should take balance and fairness as the orientations so as to protect citizen's right to receive education and to construct harmonious society of new countryside.
