Academic help-seeking has been one of the main research topics in the western researches of education and psychology since 1980s. With the shift of educational focus, academic help-seeking has been attached importance to the scholars in China in 1990s. Academic help-seeking is a behavior of finding help to encounter problems in the study. It is universality to the students, for all the students meet problems who need others'helping and guidance, to go along with studying. So, academic help-seeking is considered as an important and effective strategy. In the same time, it is a basic strategy that students must hold in. So far, many teachers don't teach the strategy to the students as a basic strategy, result in some students, especially those rural middle school students needing help. They don't realize its importance. Some aren't able to use it. It is important for the mate relation between academic help-seeking and efficiency, grade. Including less academic help-seeking study of junior middle school students in the countryside. The study investigated the countryside middle school students adopting help-seeking behavior, discussing impact factors of coming into being difference. To contribute to academic help-seeking, then putting forward intervention measure. To form the choiceness style of study, the research appeals to a large of teachers give the strategy their attention, help students to master this strategy.This present research puts forward the initial theories speculation to the academic help-seeking in English and influencing factors. By the open questionnaires survey and interview, literatures and unifies the experts and the teachers'opinion to revise the questionnaire of Academic Help-Seeking in English, workout Influencing Factors Questionnaire of Academic Help-Seeking. This research passed through to the 100 junior middle school students'enclosed examinations project analysis, the exploratory factor analysis, definite theoretical model, and then established the official examination. This research has carried on a reliability and validity examination by many kinds of methods to get the result, after the survey to the 333 junior middle school students in the countryside from Henan province by utilizing the questionnaire. The research investigated the help-seeking behavior of the countryside middle school students by revising questionnaires of academic help-seeking. By reading materials analysis and questionnaires, the research got the factors of influence academic help-seeking. The following results obtained:(1) Generally speaking, a large of rural junior middle school students chose avoiding help-seeking when they encountered difficulties in English.(44%).(2) Boys more likely evaded help-seeking than girls in English class. Girls had more adaptive help-seeking. Comparing with three grades, ninth grades liked evading help-seeking; when students encounter in English difficulties, seventh grades students used more adaptive help-seeking and independent than avoiding help-seeking for eighth or ninth grades.(3) Contacts ability, meta-cognitive ability, learning motivation and language anxiety are factors by influenced help-seeking behavior of the rural junior middle school students.(4) Comparing with these factors, learning motivation and language anxiety existed in gender and grade significant difference(P<.01). Contacts ability and language anxiety was related to academic help-seeking(P<.01). Contacts ability was a kind of positive forecast role of the adaptive help-seeking(β=.494,P<.01). Language anxiety was a kind of positive forecast function to the avoiding help-seeking(β=.457,P<.01).Meta-cognitive ability was related to academic help-seeking (P<.05). Meta-cognitive ability was a kind of negative forecast function to the avoiding help-seeking(β=-.341,P<.01). Learning motivation had a significant negative correlation with refusing help-seeking(P<.05).
