Hechi city is a region where several minorities live together and produce special customs and culture that are really well worth exploring and making use of. Based on my experience in introducing some local resources into my classes, this paper focuses on analyzing the theories, the present situations, and the strategies to exploit local resources:First, the theories: 1, the differences in connotation, classification and characteristic between the Chinese language curriculum recourses and the local Chinese language curriculum recourses. 2,the target and meaning to exploit local resources for Chinese language teaching in middle schools.Second, the present situations: 1, the general situation of local Chinese language curriculum recourses in Hechi city, including the classification, characteristic and the standards to identify. 2,the general situation of exploitation to local Chinese language curriculum recourses in Hechi city.Third, the strategies: 1, the principles, method, content of exploitation to local Chinese language curriculum recourses in Hechi city, and main points are as follows: to exploit the local customs by encouraging the students to go for social investigations; to study the folk literature and learn from the famous writers who grew up beside the local river named Hongshui River by using the investigative study method; to edit some text books of the schools'own to add some special courses in which the students learn to exploit the customs, languages and costumes of the local minorities; to exploit the folk songs via Chinese language learning activities. 2. the case study. 3, the main problems to be solved.
