There are full of opportunities and challenges in the era of knowledge and economy, how to conduct oneself and how to become a useful person become the greatest problem that teenagers face. Hence, it is a great mission of education to strengthen personality education, to train the students independent consciousness and initiative spirit, to make them rich in distinct individual character and full of innovative talents to meet the need of the era.The essence of education is to promote a person's full scale development, it calls humanities concern in human's life development, it needs us to respect individuality and bring honor to individuality, the development of individuality education is also an inevitably choice. It is well known that Chinese is the most suitable subject to manifest and cultivate individuality than other foundational subjects. As a Chinese teacher, if we can consider student's development from their individuality, aim the future talented person's characteristics, raise student's independent consciousness and innovation spirit as our profitable target, we will be able to make the students develop actively, improve their own quality comprehensively, and achieve the true goal of language education ----- to raise"the person".The introduction of new course and new lesson standards brings a brand-new world to Chinese language teaching. It gives Chinese teaching opportunities and challenges as well. What are the new intensions and new requirements of personality of Chinese education under this reform background?
