The inquiry is a main and important way for the teachers and students communicating in the class. Following the advancement of the new curriculum reform, the people gradually realize that the main body in the teaching not merely are the teachers, but also are the students. The students proposing their questions initiatively can strengthen their interest and the study effect. The students' inquiry in the class is an important form for the students participating the teaching, and it is a demonstration of the students' active exploring, independent thinking and creativity.The present essay divides into three parts:The first part, introduce the background of the topic, elaborate the necessity of inspiring the students to inquire in the junior middle school mathematics teaching under the surroundings of new curriculum reform.The second part, the research and relative theory support for inspiring the student to inquire in foreign and domestic classroom teaching.The third part, through questionnaires to middle school students , the interview of teachers, and analyzing the examples of inspiring the students to inquire in the junior middle school mathematics teaching , probe the main influencing factors in applying the research . Then come to a conclusion, the keys to inspire the students to inquire in the junior mathematics teaching are cultivating the awareness of the problem and thinking ways to create more problems situation of middle school students, paying attention to the students' inquiry and feedback in class, and the good examples of the teachers.
