This paper is Taking Liuyang County as a sample to study the statusof China's informatization in rural areas and to develop appropriatecountermeasures for it. This paper, is in reference to the theory ofSustainable Development and Innovation Diffusion Theory, and putsforwards a series of suggestions for the sustainable development ofLiuyang County's basic education informatization on the basisquestionnaire investigations and interviews and serious analysis of theproblems which lie in the sustainable development of Liuyang country'sbasic education informatization. The brief introduction of each chapter isas follows.Chapter 1 serves as an introduction. The research background,current situation, research objectives, significance, methods andprocedures are minutely explained in this chapter.In Chapter 2, the involved concepts that are studied in this paper aredefined first. Then, an analysis of characteristics of the basic educationinformationization in rural areas and how it promotes suburbaneducation is culminated. Lastly, a further analysis is given to how theTheory of Sustainable Development and Innovation Diffusion Theory tosupport the development of informatization of the basic education inrural areas.The current situation and problems of Liuyang County's basiceducation informatization is analyzed by utilizing the help ofquestionnaire investigations and interviews in Chapter 3.Based on the analysis in Chapter 3, a series of measures andsolutions to promote the sustainable development of the county basiceducation informatization are proposed in line with the Theory of Sustainable Development and Innovation Diffusion Theory in Chapter 4.Chapter 5 makes a conclusion that in order to gradually innovatethe informatization of county basic education that we should focus onthe relationship of technology, humans and their practice activities andbe able to properly coordinate the interrelations of several factors suchas education investment, "hardware" construction, resourcesconstruction, personnel structure and the construction of teachers groupin the development of county-level basic education informatization.This paper, based on the practical teaching in county basiceducation, seeks an effective way to promote the sustainabledevelopment of county basic education informatization by means ofdemonstration, which primarily takes the form of regional popularizingthe model to lower the cost, share resources and to create regionaleffects.
