Mathematics curriculum standard of compulsory education in China has been discussed, since it was published. It needs to be improved. A good way is learning from foreign advanced mathematics standards. Basic education in Australia and New Zealand is in advanced world levels. In the 21st century, the two countries are dealing with new reforms of curriculum in basic education. This paper chooses mathematics curriculum standards of compulsory education being carried out in Australia (represented by Victoria State) and New Zealand as the study subjects, and summarizes experiences of the two standards, in order to widen our vision of mathematics curriculum standard.This paper mainly uses methods of literature and comparison. Firstly, this paper introduces mathematics curriculum standards of compulsory education in Australia and New Zealand. Secondly, this paper analyses organization of standards, concepts of mathematics curriculum and contents of mathematics curriculum by comparison of the two standards. At last, based on this analysis and researches of our country's mathematics curriculum standard, the paper rethinks some problems and puts forward some suggestions for improvement of our mathematics curriculum standard.
