Hidden curriculum is now one of the important research topics on the reform of moral education in institutions of higher education, where it is regarded as a new access to the reform of moral education. Up to now, the research on its function of moral education is not yet sufficient. As a result, no much importance has been attached to the hidden curriculum in the practice of moral education in universities and colleges. Taking the hidden curriculum's function of moral education as the object of study, this thesis states the understanding of the relationship between the hidden curriculum and the moral education. Then, on the basis of on-the-spot investigation, it summarizes and reflects on the hidden curriculum's function of moral education, so as to find out the factors which hinder the hidden curriculum from bring the effect of moral education into play. At last, from the four aspects of spiritual connotation, management system, main body of the course and resources of the course, this research put forwards some suggestions and countermeasures respectively to give practical play to the hidden curriculum's effect of moral education.
