Henan University Sports Hidden Curriculum The Current Status Of Investigation And Countermeasure

In this article, writer focuses on the status of Hidden Curriculum of Physical Education (HCPE) inHenan colleges as the research object, comprehensively studied physical, institutional and spiritualenvironmental factors of HCPE in Henan colleges, through literature study, questionnaire survey, expertinterviews, logical analysis and mathematical statistics research methods. According to the study, writerconcluded as below:a. Physical environment of HCPE in colleges of Henan: The venues for HCPE are mainly outdoor groundand cannot meet the students' courses and fitness needs. The equipments for HCPE are rarely renovatedand inadequate reserves. Irrational facilities' distribution on venues and relative lack of facilities'conservation rise up the ratio of students' safety risk.b. Institutional environment of HCPE in colleges of Henan: Even though the teaching target is clarifiedby P.E teachers, they have improper teaching time to achieve it. Simple course management is notconducive to implementing activities of HCPE.c. Spiritual environment of HCPE in colleges of Henan: Sports atmosphere is inadequate created incampus. Most of college students, even some P.E teachers, are lack of awareness of participation insports and keep poor exercise habits. School leaders rarely care of HCPE since they considered it as nocontribution to school's development.Based on the above conclusions, this study also made recommendations to promote the development ofHCPE in colleges of Henan as below:a. Ensuring investment in sports funding to increase the construction of indoor sports venues and toenlarge the variety of the school sports equipments. Eliminating the hazards in HCPE by strengtheningsports safety awareness and researching the scientific reform of the school sports facilities laying.b. College management could strengthen the management of the curriculum sports activities throughrationalizing the teaching time arrangement.c. College management shall strengthen the propaganda of sport and improving students' physicalawareness and sense of participation. Paying more attention to P.E teachers' continuing educationcould help college fundamentally improve the quality of PE teaching.
