Researches on teaching reading are always active in the field of teaching and research. And it has always the concern and attention by the people. It is nearly 60 years now from the founding of our country. And it can be divided into two periods to the Cultural Revolution: Traditional teaching reading and teaching reading today. Traditional teaching reading was directed by the theories of the former Soviet Union and Western' literary theories, such as "Writer as the center" "Text as the center", which emphasize the roles of teachers and texts, pay attention to improve teachers' "teaching" skills and attention to explore the author's intent and carefully analyze texts. In the new curriculum reform period, people break the old theories, but have not created some new theories, so they do not really clear up the main roles of teaching reading such as teachers, textbooks and students, resulted in the absence of the roles and infringement between the roles. Therefore, strengthening all-round study of new theories and teaching reading has become necessary.Reception Aesthetics is one of the theories that the new curriculum reform needs. The new curriculum standards emphasize individual reading and creative reading. These requirements have indirectly affirmed Reception Aesthetics' status as the guiding theory. However, the current studies on the teaching of literature reading that are guided by Reception Aesthetics are scattered and shallow.Reception Aesthetics stresses readers' roles in the process of reading. It calls writers' texts the First Texts. The first texts are just existences of material which have Call Structures. And they do not have any meaning before being read. Readers have different views. When they respond to the call of the text and fill the gaps in the text, they will become the second texts from the first texts and they will have practical significance. Reception Aesthetics has studied in depth the process of reading, and it enables us to understand the roles of texts, readers, and the relationship between the two in a new vision. This is of great significance to us, because it can help us to understand the textbooks, teachers, students and the interrelationship between them.Reception Aesthetics has told us teaching is not monologues of teachers' or textbooks' and it should be dialogues and exchanges between the three teaching subjects on the basis of equality and at last the three teaching subjects achieve "fusion of horizons". These viewpoints will lead to profound changes in the teaching of literature reading, whether learning methods, or teaching methods, or instructional design models. So, this paper is in the guidance of Reception Aesthetics. It adopts the main viewpoints of Hermeneutics, combines the basic principles of educational psychology, and also collects some typical teaching cases. On the bases of these, it re-explores the roles of textbooks, teachers and students in the teaching of literature reading. This paper is trying to build a new process of teaching which is based on a correct basis of shared roles. This paper believes that in the process of the teaching of literature reading, textbooks are open, and are special interlocutors. They are looking forward to the realization of students and teachers, thereby contributing to their development. Students are the most important subjects in the process of teaching. For textbooks are concerned, they are the most important readers, but also very special readers. For teachers are concerned, they are the embodiment of teaching, as well as the judge of the teaching process. Teachers are critical text readers, and are equal to talk to students. They should create a safe environment for students, and reflect on the teaching process. On the basis of these, this paper divides teaching process of a single text into three stages: before classes, in classes, after classes. We think in this paper that, in the course of the preparatory stage, teachers should conduct an in-depth dialogue with the text. At the same time teachers should also understand students' horizon, and respect their right to read so that they can have full dialogues with the text. In the stage of teaching, teachers should pay attention to use the method of "stranger", and pay attention to gaps remain. On the basis of respecting the laws of reading, teachers should help students to conduct in-depth dialogues with the text. After classes, it is a great opportunity to expand students' life experience and aesthetic experience, teachers should seize the opportunity to encourage students to read more books and take part in more activities.
