As the sharp development of high-tech, the Information Age came and the globalization of the world economy expanded. As our country's entry to WTO, the success of our country hosting the 2008 Olympic Games, the international intercourse is increasing cozy. Our life, work, and study have been changing enormously, especially the ways of our thinking."Compound talents"which master foreign languages, skillfully use computers and have the spirit of innovation are increasing noticed. All the time, the schools are shouldering the task of cultivating useful talents. How to meet the challenge of times is related to the success or failure of school education. Our country's bilingual education came on to the stage of our educational reform on the setting of this times, and has become the highlight of our country's quality education. Nowadays some large and middle inshore cities have done many beneficial explorations.This thesis adopted the method of combination of theoretic study and demonstration study. At the part of study of theory, the significance of our country'bilingual teaching is analyzed, and also this part introduces the origin, the concept, the object and categories of bilingual education. This part retrospects and concludes the existences the bilingual teaching in Candia, US, Singapore and Japan. The existence, advantages and restricting factors are all presented in this paper. This thesis also explored and discussed the theories foundations of bilingual teaching from the Think tank model theory and Threshold theory of Psychology, as well as structuralism of learning theory, humanism study theory and multi-intelligence theory.At the part of demonstration study, taking the Chemistry bilingual teaching in Altai's junior school as the object, some pilot work was done on how to choose the content of bilingual curriculum and how to select the model of bilingual teaching. The goal is to explore the useful model of the countryside's Chemistry bilingual teaching in this remote district and can do some beneficial tries for our country's bilingual teaching in the countryside.
