| Class management is an eternal topic of school education. As quality education, creation education and the reform of the new curriculum have been carried out, it has become the necessity of history to innovate the methods of education, improve the quality of education and train the spirit of creation and the ability of practice. School is the main place to implement the quality of education, while class is the basic unit as well as the important surroundings where students learn to adapt to the society. How to operate class management is to influence the all-round development of students. However, a lot of problems still exist in the senior students' management at present.In terms of school management, the role of head teacher is attached too much importance to, while the function of other teachers is thought too little of; the regular management too much, while the self-management too little; the result of study too much, while the moral education and the way of study too little; the evaluation of teachers too much, while the evaluation of students. It results in passive class management without students' active participation. As for teachers, they manage their class only by their experience and feeling as well as their outdated concept of education, which leads to unilateral class management and the disagreement of teachers' education. Besides, the outdated concept of students brings on the gradual decrease in the aspect of students' self-independence and self-determination. Students almost make their effort on their improvement of intelligence, ignoring their own personality. What's more, the system of evaluating class and head teacher is not scientific and sound.Under the direction of student-oriented idea, senior students' management must be based on quality education and the effective approach is to let students manage themselves well. The reform of class management has been put forward to, which has five basic points---one main idea, two sets of system, three roles' combination, four types of direction and five members' coexistence. In the meantime, the student-oriented role needs to be made the most of, so as to form the model of the self-management of students, the proper direction of teachers and the mutual activities of students and teachers. |
