The analysis of survey has discovered that four factors have impacts on college graduates employment: social employment pressure, parents’unreasonable expectations for their college children, college graduates’lacking sufficient overall qualities and capabilities, and colleges’ issues. After summarizing different factors, this article presents the causes from different perspectives, including:only a small portion of the measures adopted by governments are carried out; parents hold unreasonable high expectations for their children’s employment but actual economic return is relatively low; college graduates have to improve their overall qualities; and college career plan services have not played an important role. Last, according to the information as reflected in the survey and the practices and experiences of the author of this article, a few of solutions are suggested, including:the government adjusts economy and develops industries that create more jobs; parents change their mindset for college graduates employment so students can use what they have learned at college; strengthen education and training in professional quality and improve students’ overall capabilities; colleges reform significantly and meet the needs of the society.
