The Tentative Plan Of Suizhou Implementation Of The New High School Music Curriculum Reform

A reform about elementary education curriculum reform in the new century is powerfully prompting forward,which is of the largest scale in our country's history.And the high school curriculum standards of all the subjects have been successfully developed.Besides,new texts of high school based on the standards are in the experimental use.Accordingly,learning and teaching in nowadays'high schools can manifest the new curriculum concept.All the things shoe that our elementary education has entered into a brand-new historical stage.As a part of elementary education,while high school music curriculum have obtained certain development,there still exists many problems.For example,what should be the curriculum's orientation and nature,what should be its concept and goal.Besides,how to teach,how to value the teaching,how to exploit the curriculum resources and how to compile and use the texts.High School Music Curriculum Standard is important content of high school education reform.It makes every effort to conform to the requirement of education for all-around development and the goal of high school education.Its purpose,is to form such a concept:the music curriculum in high schools should focus on appreciating music,and accord with social development.The music curriculum should include both basic and optional lessens,so that every student can develop their music abilities throughout their life.The author investigated the implementation of new music curriculum standard in several high schools of Suizhou, then analysed the problems existed in its music education and the reasons.At last,the author gave the proposal on how to improve high school's music education Suizhou.
