Huang Pu was a patriotic Christian educator who had devoted all his life to the development of education in China. In order to form a suitable educational system of China's own, he went to the USA two times to learn advanced education theories. After graduating , he combined what he learnt with his teaching practice and formed special education theories of his own.In order to rectify the drawback of plagiarism in education in China, he published more than thirty essays in all kinds of educational magazines. He thought only a suitabe education could save China, avoiding the Chinese people being bully and humiliated.It also insured that China could become a stong modern country.Huang Pu chose to work at Chritian middle school or Christian college to make his dream that China would become a strong country by reforming its education come ture . He aimed at forming a suitable secondary educational system in China. He believed that secondary education was related to the strongness of a country directly.The reason why American was well developed was that it had a large and advanced secondary educational system which couldn't be compared by any country. They made the opportunity of receiving secondary education to everyone who wanted. They put new education into practice.There were only high education and elementary education in the past in China. Secondary education was developed much later than developed countries. When the experts and politician realized the importance of developing secondary education, they wanted to make secondary education better in a short time. They began to copy the way of developing secondary education of the developed countries. It was not suitable for China and it was ineffective. It couldn't make education develop healthily. In order to form a suitable education system, Huang Pu went to Europe and Japan to inspect secondary education there for three times. He had translated many works about education and had worked in middle school for ten years. Through his teaching experience, he formed his own special educational theories which are still valuable for nowadays education in China.Huang Pu also had his own idea of how developing higher education. He had thirty years of conducting college of education .It made him have the ability to form his own special educational theories. We can learn from what he achieved successfully and make colleges of education make more contribution to the development of the society.
