As a part of the education, education punishment always attracts people's attention. The argument of education punishment mainly lies in the rationality to exist and the feasibility to implement. On these two focuses, people research education punishment from different aspects. However, they cannot explain the reasons of education punishment's existence, because theyforgetting a very important factor-human nature. Every man knows that man is aim and objectin the course of education. Every man is living and special. So, education punishment has to face human nature. As a species, men have their common personalities, which is also the base to practice education punishment in the view of the theory of human nature. Therefore, this essay will elaborate the reasons, aims, principle and ways of education punishment's existence in the view of theory of human nature. It will help people practice education punishment according to human nature, and make education punishment more valid.There are six parts in this essay:Part one: Forewords. It introduces the reasons and the meanings to write this essay, and give previous researches simple classifications and point their flaws.Part two: To define the concept. Comparing the Chinese and foreign human nature theory, I proposed a concept which is more objective and comprehensive. Human nature is the common personalities which man is inherent or acquired by learning. Human nature is embodied by four relationships: man and material, man and spirit, man and other, man and himself, and it is a compound body of material and spirit, sensibility and ration, individual character and general character, discipline and self-discipline. Moreover, a new concept of education punishment is offered while many people limit the main body and object of education punishment.Part three: Hypothesis of human nature to practice education punishment. Man has four demands: material, spirit, collective and ego. These factors show people's human nature when they deal with them, and they are also the base to practice the education punishment in the view of the theory of human nature. Part four: The aims of education punishment in the view of the theory of human nature. Ideas of material, moral, collective and ego of man show that education punishment can shape human nature.Part five: The principles to practice the education punishment in the view of the theory of human nature. For complexities of human nature, practice education punishment must according to principles as following: unity of materials and spirits, unity of sensibility and ration, unity of individual character and general character, unity of discipline and self-discipline.Part six: The methods to practice education punishment in the view of the theory of human nature. According contents of human nature, we get seven education punishment methods such as physical punishment, objective punishment, school work punishment, psychic punishment, collective punishment and self- punishment. Analyzing their advantages and disadvantages one by one, we get a conclusion at last.
