| Moral education has a marked impact on human’s thought,moral character,political consciousness and spiritual home.There had a fierce argument between the original goodness and evil of human nature in Pre-Qin,which had profound influence on traditional Chinese.This paper studies on moral education based on the argument about human nature in Pre-Qin as the traditional culture has profound and unconscious influence on contemporary Chinese,and try to help the development of moral education,the future of Chinese culture and of spiritual home of Chinese.As for human nature,Mencius persisted in the theory of original goodness while Xuncius persisted in the theory of original evil.While their theoretical basis and train of thought were different,the theory of Mencius and Xuncius both inherited from the thought of Confucius,been based on the subjectivity and morality of human which originated in Early Zhou Dynasty,and sought the Ren,Yi,Li,Zhi which is the ethic of Confucianism and the good ideal personality.With the influence of political practice with Legalism under Confucianism in traditional China,the theory of original goodness and the theory of original evil of human nature,and the principle and path of moral education originated them,were combined with each other in path of ideology and practice.This paper argues that human’s moral growth must be the result of individual efforts,school education and environment influence from this experience of history.The improvement of the environment is of great significance by the edifying influence and making original thought of individual,which requires that promoting the construction of political civilization and the rule of law,perfecting the system of social work,and observing the ethic of spread to maintain a positive and healthy network environment should be paid attention to.In the school moral education,the teacher should make the thought of heart play an efficient role,and exert the subjectivity and morality of student to discuss the hypothesis of evil human nature and ideal of good human nature,in which way can make student set up ideal and be based on reality to achieve the ambitions of truth,goodness and beauty,and make unremitting efforts to build equality and freedom,order and harmony of the societyThis paper is mainly combined by five parts:The first part is the introduction,including the reason of choosing this topic,the definition of the key concepts,the status at home and abroad of this study,the train of thought of this study,and the significance and challenges of this study,etc.The second part is about the subjectivity and morality of human,which is originated from the awareness of unexpected development in Early Zhou Dynasty and proven by Confucius and Mencius,so Chinese philosophy certainly stand on the subjectivity and morality of human.Therefore,this part is the theoretical basis of this paper in fact.The third part is about the theory of human nature of Confucius,Mencius and Xuncius.Mencius argued for the theory of original goodness and Xuncius argued for the theory of original evil with different theoretical basis and train of thought,but they were both inherited from the thought of Confucius and had many key ideas in common,and they both had a profound impact on the practice of traditional Chinese politics,culture and education.The fourth part is about the selection of the path of moral education in traditional and contemporary China based on the different train of thought of human nature,which including the path of school moral education and the path of social moral education.The fifth part re-examine the argument of human nature in Pre-Qin based on the subjectivity and morality of human and the rational sense showed be Mencius’ the thought of heart and Xuncius’ perceiving of heart.Based on this,this paper state the enlightenment for contemporary Chinese school moral education from four aspects——the aim,content,method and evaluation of moral education. |
