Teachers play various roles in classroom instruction. Different role calls for different teaching standard, and it was resulted in the conflict on teacher's role. At the beginning of the new century, China claimed that we must speed up the construction of the new elementary education curriculum system, which meets the request of Education for all-around development and the needs of the time. Teacher is the key of the new curriculum reform., The new curriculum reform gives the teacher new require about the teaching ideas, the teaching way and so on .The speeding up of the changing of the education mode let the teacher face new challenges.This thesis took a middle school in Shandong Province as a case, making use of the literature studying, the questionnaire, and interviews methods and so on, did a research on the conflicts of the roles in classroom instruction among senior high school teachers. The research believed that the role conflict of senior high school teachers in classroom instruction mainly included the conflict within roles and between roles. The conflict between the role proposed by the new course and the habitual role in classroom is the basic expression of the conflict on teacher roles.Long conflict on the teacher role of is adverse to the improvement of the quality of classroom instruction and teacher's specialized development, and it also affect the process of the curriculum reforms. This essay discussed the reason of the role conflict, and found that conflict on teacher's role not only concerned with the environment of social and school, it also has something to do with the teachers' teaching methods and their diathesis. Therefore, this research gave some suggestions as follows: the curriculum reforms should be able to arrest the teachers' resonance, and the school must have various evaluating method to give the teachers the right of self-determination. In addition to these, the teacher's treatment should be improved. What's more, teacher's training should use the practice pattern to promote the teacher specialty development. From the point of the teachers themselves, they should strengthen the role study, enhancing the ability of role they act; meanwhile, they must enhance the cooperation and reduce the role pressure.
