Conflict exists in daily life, which is a special state of relations among people. The conflict between teachers and students in the field of education occurs usually, oweing to differences in their feelings, values, goals, etc.,and then affects normal and effective education and instruction. The relation between teachers and students changed a lot virtually with the development of society and the people-oriented concept being accepted increasingly by the public.The new curriculum has proposed to build a new relationship between teachers and students, which is a new type of teacher-student relationship of equality, democracy, respects and love for each other, such a kind of relationships up to grade in the new trend of the times. It’s not difficult to find that the relationship between teachers and students are becoming more and more tense through the survey and in-depth study, teachers are complaining that it’s more and more painful to cultivate nowday students gradually, such situation as not respecting or understanding teachers, or even antagonizing to teachers.Therefore, the critical factor of education-teacher-student relationship has caused more and more educators and the whole society concern, and only by digging out the root causes of conflict between teachers and students, identifying effective strategies which can be actively respond to the problem,and then it’s possible to create harmonious and cultural atmosphere at school for the new curriculum further enforcement and development.Specifically, this paper mainly discusses this thesis from the following five parts:the first section definites some related key words like the relations of teachers and students, the conflict between teachers and students, because this is a study of the conflict between teachers and students in the process of English instruction of junior high school, the characteristics of English instruction in junior high school have also been discussed.The second part mainly presents the results and analysis of questionnaires and interview lasting for around half-year time, it’s called the situation investigation of the conflict between teachers and students in the process of English instruction in junior high school. In order to know well the general situation of the conflict between teachers and students in the process of English instruction in junior high school, the specific performance and the current situation of the relationship between teachers and students, and finally this paper provides some typical cases to analyse teachers’and students’special psychology further.The third part mainly categorizes the conflict between teachers and students, and then analyzes some possible reasons based on the questionnaires and interviews mentioned in the second part. This paper mainly discusses the following five factors:the English subject, teachers, students, family and social reasons, analyzing possible factors causing the conflict between teachers and students.The fourth part gives some suggestion and corresponding strategies aiming at the conflict between teachers and students in the process of English instruction in junior high school, mainly from two aspects, one is how to understand the phenomenon of conflict between teachers and students exactly, the other is how to prevent or make good use of the conflict between teachers and students.The fifth part rethinks profoundly and makes a conclusion of the conflict between teachers and students in the process of English instruction of junior high school.Generally speaking, this paper has made field research by using questionnaires and interviews in four middle sclools, especially in Yucai School Chongqing City for around six months,working and learning with the frontline teachers and the most lovely and pure students to obtain a large number of first-hand information. The paper starts from the survey of appearance of teacher-student conflict, combing with data analysis and interview efforts in order to explore the factors causing the conflict between teachers and students from four parts:students’family, schools, teachers and students,and has tried to find out more scientific and effective tactics to conflict between teachers and students for the frontline teachers and other educators.
