Teachers are important participators and conveyers of the courses reform. The professional development of the teachers have become a main trend of the development of the international education, and it is an important part of education reform in China at the same time. Chinese is a basic branch of elementary education. During the development of our society, the education of Chinese takes the function of culture conveyance and spririt creation more and more. The professional quality of the teachers of Chinese is essential percondition to a successful teaching. The professional development of the teachers of Chinese is an important branch of the all professional development of teachers. As a new theory and method, the Chinese participatory instruction has been introduced into the region of teaching. It not only has its advantages in training the students, but also could has an important fuction of the teachers' professional development. During the paractice of the Chinese participatory instruction, the significance of the Chinese participatory instruction should be discussed. The Chinese participatory instruction could help teachers to recognize the relationship of the Chinese participatory instruction and the professional development of teachers. Thereby, teachers could practice the new method of teaching and develop their professional ability.This study mainly takes methods of ducument analysis, case research and action research. After a generality introdution of the study method of participatory and the Chinese participatory instruction, the study made an definition of the professional development of teachers and made an definition of its connotation at the same time. Because of the professional development of teacher stuff related to many elements, the study will focus on the interior exchanges and development of the individual of the teachers, which based on the developments of teachers' characters, the theory of education, the structure of knowledge, and the introspection, and so on.The Chinese participatory instruction and the professional development of teachers have a close relationship. The implemenation of the former one requests the extensive professional structure and the standard in a higher level. At the same time, it offers a platform for teachers' professional development. The implementation of the Chinese participatory instruction not only helps teachers to make a breakthrough at outmoded conventions, change characters and ways of teaching, but also improves the theory of education, the structure of knowledge and the introspection, and so on. Meanwile, the improvement of teachers profession pushes the Chinese participatory instruction to a higher level in the region. For this reason, we should promote teachers' individual professional development during the development of the Chinese participatory instruction.
