At present or in the future, the vocational education of our country is changing from expansion of scale to improvement of quality, working at building a team of high-quality teachers adapting to the requirements of vocational reform and development, which requires to take the improving and developing of the teachers in the vocational schools as the most important strategic position. Since"15", all levels of governments and vocational schools have attached great importance to training the teachers from vocational schools, but they have paid more attention to training professional skills teachers but neglected the professional development of the public basic course teachers, represented by Chinese teachers. Gu Mingyuan, famous educator, said socio-professional has an iron rule: only being professional, one can have social status and be respected by the society. The same is true to language education. So the development of the Chinese teachers in secondary vocational schools deserves attention and concern.In this paper, literature method,questionnaire,interview and case law are used to study the current situation of the Chinese teachers from Changshu Riverside Vocational School, from the following aspects: the background,purpose,significance,connotation of the professional development of the Chinese teachers in secondary vocational schools. Finally the author puts the proposals for the professional developing of the Chinese teachers in the vocational schools. The proposals include clearing the role of the Chinese teachers in secondary schools; establishing the long-term training mechanism of on-the-job Chinese teachers in secondary vocational schools; promoting the professional developing of the Chinese teachers through curriculum reform; building a language learning community; building self-awareness of develop profession to set up the lifelong study idea.
