Networked learning community has been a new environment of teacher professional development. The research on the knowledge construction in networked learning community of teachers in university will promote teacher professional development in university.The instructional theories of this research are the theories of teachers'professional development, the theories of cooperative learning, the theories of learning organization and the theories of society construction. This research uses two methods of literature review and case analysis. The materials of this research are lots of literature materials about networked learning community and two representational domestic networked learning communities. The aim of this research is resolving the problem on the knowledge construction in networked learning community of teachers in university to promote teacher professional development in university.At first, through analyzing the materials, I found that it is a important way to teacher professional development in university, that teachers in university carry though knowledge construction in networked learning community. Then, I analyze the cases and find out the circumstances of knowledge construction in domestic networked learning community. Afterward, basing on the career characters about teachers in university, I sum up seven characters and three aims of knowledge construction in the networked learning communities of teachers in university. Finally, combining the circumstances of knowledge construction in domestic networked learning community, I bring forward five promoting strategies.Owing to the limited research conditions and time, from the macroscopical lay, this research just discuss the characters, aims and simulative strategies on knowledge construction in networked learning community of teachers in university. According to the actual conditions and circumstances of a university, how to exploder corresponding networked learning community of teachers, and put forward correlative idiographic principles on the knowledge construction, which this research does not refer. And this will be my future struggling research direction.
