With the ever deepening of curriculum revolution, elementary school maths teachers are more and more eager for individual development. Xuhui District features a group of maths teachers at young ages and with new ideas. Therefore it becomes an urgent issue to find a lasting, effective, convenient and novel path for their development. Networked Learning Community is a new way to carry out teachers'individual development using the Internet as a major means and technique. Networked Learning Community brings a way of activity communication that is open, equal, shared and mutual-beneficial, thus providing the teachers with a brand-new platform for their development.This thesis analyzes the theoretical basis of how Networked Learning Community promotes teachers'individual development. It takes the maths teachers of Xuhui District as a controlled group and forms a regional Networked Learning Community among them by building up various platforms. The author also develops different functions of the platforms, aiming at promoting teachers'individual development.The thesis consists of 5 chapters.The first chapter gives an introduction to the background and the meaning of the research, as well as the structure and research approaches of the thesis.ChapterⅡgenerally discusses the multi-construction of Networked Learning Community, defines some related terms like"Learning Community","Networked Learning Community", and describes the theoretical basis and research conditions home and abroad.ChapterⅢfocuses on the construction of networked platforms, defines the term"multi"and explains how to multi-construct the networked platform according to the practical needs of teachers. ChapterⅣtakes the maths teachers of Xuhui District as a controlled group and builds up a Networked Learning Community among them through networked learning activities. The members make use of the shared resources and achieve mutual benefit and development.ChapterⅤgives a conclusion of the effect and limitations of the research and a prospect for further research in the field.
