The Present Condition And Countermeasures Research On Track And Field Teaching Of Required Course In Undergraduate Physical Education Major In Guangxi

A new physical education course project'the undergraduate physical education major project for ordinary university'have been promulgated by The Ministry of Education in 2003.6, It required all the university or college which has this major perform it after 2004.9,this is a mark of a new reform about P.E major curriculum. It has been given in the background which the knowledge economy has become the main component of economy and information has played a very important role in society and all aspects changes which in social economy, technology, politics, education, culture etc. have been brought about completely. It is based of'three- facing'guiding ideology and aims to cultivate a new generation in PE who fit for the new time and possess firm basic, wide caliber, high quality, strong ability, wide adaptability, innovating spirit,. The new project has changed the traditional ideology of P.E teaching and persists the'health is the first'as the first ideology. The reform has changed the traditional ways which focus on professional instruction too much and focus on wide caliber of major and wide adaptability. it combined professional education with common education and strength education in'overall acknowledgment'. It also adjusted the proportion among various course of P.E major and strength the relation of courses. It has reached the goals of consolidating'overall acknowledgement'education and specialized education, consolidating theory with practice, consolidating nature science education with classical society science education. the setting of the core curriculum become the'domain', the required curriculum become'subject', limited curriculum become miniaturization. Each college possesses bigger and bigger developing room to set up their curriculum system, and insure the variety and flexibility in the setting of curriculum.As one of the six core curriculum of P.E major, Track and field curriculum play a very important role in this reform of curriculum of P.E major Not only does the new curriculum project focus on the knowledge developing and teaching ability of student, but the new curriculum project also focus on the value of healthy, the value of psychology, the value of society cultivation in the track and field. in respect of the content, there are several vivid characteristic: the first, it firmly combined the contents and aim requirement in curriculum'criterion of Physical education and health'which is abided by the elementary school and the high school.
