A Research Of Hualan Yao's Agricultural Laborforce Transferring Under The Perspective Of Historical Anthropology

With the furthering of opening up and reform, the transferring of agricultural laborforce affecting the sustainable and healthy development of national economy and political stability has become a key issue which has attracted much attention of CPC and Chinese government. Moreover,the academic field has been doing a great deal of research on this issue from various aspects since 1970s.HualanYao is a branch of Yao minority. Before Qin dynasty, the ancestors of Hualan Yao had lived on collecting and hunting. After Han dynasty, they turned to be nomads. Until Ming and Qing dynasty, they had settled down to develop agriculture. During the period between the foundation of PRC and the implementation of reform and opening up, because of the frequency of the domestically political movement, Hualan Yao's economy developed very slowly ,which zigzagged the agricultural laborforce transferring. After the implementation of reform and opening up, with the political stability and economical development, the agricultural laborforce transferring. of HualanYao has become diversified.This dissertation plans to analyze the causes and influences upon society ,economy and culture of the agricultural laborforce transferring.of HualanYao, through fieldwork, focusing on the history of transferring, using the relevant theories of sociology and historical anthropology, finally points out the existing problems and provides some possible solutions.
