As a basic subject, Chinese occupies an incomparably important position. The research focuses on the design of teaching of the Chinese in elementary schools. Taking the researcher him/herself as the object and by making in-depth observation of the class and through actual observation and interviews based on relevant documentaries, this research has got detailed and accurate materials which gained itself reliability and efficiency.This paper can be divided into four parts:Part 1 is the introduction. This part expounds the reasons how this research comes into being and what the most important problems are. Then state the purpose of the research, the selection of research method and object of study. At last, it makes out the meaning of the research.The second part is the theory part of the research which mainly expounds the correlation theories of the design of teaching and the design of Chinese in elementary school. On this basis, puts forward the principles of design of teaching of Chinese in elementary school and shows the primary functions of the design of Chinese in elementary school.The third part is the main body of this paper, which analyses the main constitutional elements of design of teaching by making in-depth observation of the class and through actual observation and interviews of four teachers, and expatiates the factors that affect the design of teaching of teachers.Part four is the conclusion of this paper. On the basis of the three parts above, it sums up the experiences and the inspirations to us.The design of teaching of Chinese in elementary school is a complicated work. It is related to teachers'view of curriculum, view of teaching material, view of teaching, view of student. This research just puts forward some ideas base on case analysis, it requires a further study.
